Where the name came from

Life, love and the pursuit of a cowboy was a saying I told my grandfather about a year ago. I said it more as a joke, but the idea as stuck with me. The constitution says that it's our rights to have life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. It is my opinion that everyone views happiness differently. No I do not believe that to have a man would be the key to my happiness. Let me try to explain...

Life begins the moment your born to the day you die. No one knows how long that time will be and no one has the exactly same number of days. We do all, however, only have one life to live and I mean truely live. Take advantage of every amazing opportunity you are given, it is your right!
Love, the the greatest commandment is to love God the second is to love others. Many people have a hard time understanding just how powerful this four letter word is. We know that there is no greater love than to lay down your life for your brother. Jesus, our brother if you are saved, gave his life so that we may live. We love because He first loved us. There are several types of love and without going into those I encourage you to do what you love, learn to love yourself because you are pretty amazing, love others for this world needs kindness, and love God!
The pursuit of a cowboy, a Godly man who shares the same loves as me and chooses to create an amazing life for us to live together. Though not my only goal, it is one a value for many reasons. All girls have an image of their own prince charming, the guy of their dreams. Mine just happens to wear spurs, chaps and a cowboy hat while riding his white horse. I encourage you to find what makes you happy!

Pilot

I have never been a good writer, math was more of my strong point. However, I've always dreamed of making words come alive across a page. Recently, thanks to my youth minister and his wife, I've embarked on a new journey to Germany for six months as their nanny. While here they continue to encourage me to go on as many "solo adventure" (as I call them) as I possibly can. Since this is an amazing opportunity I have been blessed with, many loved ones have suggested that I start blogging.
That leaves me here, and I always believe great the best place to start is the beginning. So I would like to give you a little information about me so you can see where I come from which I believe always helps to determine where you are going.

I was born to a single, yet amazing woman who has been my rock for 23 years. At the age of 10 she married the man I call my Dad. Then 2 years later our family became complete when they had my little sister.

We are cattle farmer. There is no life greater or more beautiful than on the farm. I have a passion for the cattle industry and have no doubts that one day I'll be running Hines Cattle Co.
I am a southern girl, saved by the grace of God! There is nothing I value more than my relationship with Christ. Though not a perfect Christian, I strive daily to become more like him. (I also plan to write a few devotion blogs).

December 2014, I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in food and resource economics. While there, I was an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and members of the Livestock Judging team.

That pretty much brings us to the present - Niemberg Germany. Nanny to 4 adorable kids and world traveler.
